Urban Civil Engineering includes developing roadway designs to accommodate and augment the Architectural Site Plan designs. Since 2016 the civil engineering group at Urban has designed an entire 8 block neighborhood with new street designs that include elevating the existing roadways to alleviate localized flooding. The newly constructed roadways will include pervious paver sidewalks, bio planters, 15' wide sidewalks, concrete curbing, new asphalt pavements, decorative street lighting and shade trees. In addition to the design and details Urban engineering acquires all the necessary local and state agency permits along with preparing the traffic control for construction.
