Urban designed and oversaw the construction of SOHO Lofts which was constructed on a 2 acre plot of land in Jersey City.  Site improvements included elevating all perimeter sidewalks to meet future elevated roadways, constructing new storm, sanitary and water laterals, electric and gas utilities, decorative street lights, pavers, trees and site furnishings.

 

SOHO Lofts is mixed use project which includes two tower of 20 and 13 stories sitting above a 5 story full block podium.  The nearly 1,000,000 million square foot structure has 369 luxury rental units of vary bedroom types including duplex townhouses with individual entries along Coles Street providing an active ground floor presence.  There is a 350 car indoor, multi-level parking garage, approximately 30,000 sf of retail space, various tuypes of amenity spaces including a 25,000 sf rooftop terrace with an infinity pool, individual cabanas, cooking and grassed seating area, child play area and dog run.  Indoor amenities include fitness centers, relaxation lounges, kid's playroom and a grand 2 story lobby atrium.
